How to make a Paperclip Felt Bookmark

You will need:
1.) Felt cloth (colors of your choice)
2.) Paperclips
3.) Needle and Thread
4.) Scissors
5.) Buttons and Beads (optional)
6.) Cotton (optional) - not in photo
7.) Fabric Marker (optional)

Let's get started!

STEP 1: Draw and Cut.

Draw your desired design to your felt cloth.
Cut out two (2) similar size and shape for the body of your design. Cut out smaller pieces for the other details of your creation or you can use (optional) the button and beads. Your imagination is the limit!

My niece decided to make a candy-shaped bookmark. And me? A penguin.

It should look like this.

STEP 2: Sew the front.
Sew the details to one of the body or base of your cut-out felt cloth. This will be the front side of your bookmark.
Step 2. Sewing the details to one of the base. (The front side of the bookmark)

STEP 3: Sew the back.
Sew the paperclip to the remaining base. This will be the back side of your bookmark.
Step 3: Sew the paperclip to the remaining base. (The back side of the bookmark)

STEP 4: Sew them together.
Simply sew the front and back side of the bookmark together.
Step 4: Sew them together.

STEP 5 (optional): Fill with cotton and draw with marker, if desired.
While sewing them halfway through, fill them with cotton to make it look more fluffy, stuffy or cutey. :)
Then sew them all the way. You can also draw on it for a more detailed craft using some fabric markers.
Step 5 (optional): Fill with cotton.
Step 5 (optional): Draw, draw, draw! :)

And we're done! :)
Tadaaaa! Our finished product.
Enjoy your super cute personalized felt bookmark!

Have fun,
Bjean
